Did Ann Coulter get suspended for two weeks when she called John Edwards a fa660t?
Because Imus used a phrase used by black hip hop artists and comedians to point out the fact that the Rutgers womens' basketball team had more tatoos than a Harley convention and he got canned for two weeks.

Outstanding question! Don't even get me started on Ann Coulter. That broom jockey has the worst mouth in all of media land. She should be burned at the stake. The answer is NO, she didn't get suspended. She actually received applause when she said it.

He was suspended and more than likely will be fired altogether.
If you think racists comments are funny, then there's a place for you on the internet: www.kkk.com
Someone with a national voice has to be held accountable for his/her actions.
Ann Coulter is a writer and she's paid by a publisher to sell books. The more people she calls "******", the more conservative bigots will run to buy her book.
Had she said that on a nationally syndicated radio show that was owned by CBS, the same thing would be happening to her.
A person must go buy her book. They already know what they're getting when they buy that tramp's tired rhetoric.
A radio show on the other hand can be tuned into by anyone, free of charge. That means you have a wider cross-section of audience that you cannot piss off.

Wow, i don't understand if i've got ever seen a extra vicious and bitter man or woman than Ann Coulter. If she is regarded to as a ethical beacon by skill of the the perfect option, then they are nearer to the occasion of Musollini than I even envisioned.

You know, when we first noticed Coulter doing various political shows -- I think it was back in the mid-90s -- we were always saying "Why is that woman laughing?," "She's always laughing," "There's that woman again who's always laughing," etc. No matter what she said, she'd be laughing, as though every damned thing that happened in politics was hilarious to her and everything comment she made completely cracked her up. You might not think what she is saying is funny, but I think she's motivated by comic energy, and the people who like her are picking up on the fun.
Luv her or Hate her, you got to admit that she is a straight-shooter and won't back down to anyone. I have to say, I respect her for that! Never mind, that Edwards is a worthless waste of space.
Anyways...the bottom line of this argument really is pathetic! We live in the USA people...we should be able to say what we want when we want. I mean after all, isn't this the first amendment Liberals shout at us on a daily basis? Once again, in this political correct BS environment ..it depends WHOM says what!

Nope, she should not have been suspended, nor should have Imus. Also, the reason why there was lesser outrage is that the gay community has yet to spawn a hate monger like Sharpton or Jackson to fire up "their people" with racial hatred and antipathy. Also, if it had been a white man who said it, it may have blown up, because white women still have a little bit of leeway from the Opinion Police.

We have seen this same situation alot lately and the pattern is those who apologize get lambasted. Those who like Ann Coulter, basically gave the PC police the finger walked away unscathed.
Bullies are cowards. Show weakness and they give no mercy. Stand up to them and then leave quietly.

A fine question, indeed. (How refreshing!) I didn't know she'd done that! How sad that it wasn't given the same amount of attention that Imus has had. Both of 'em are shameful, but that she got away with it, is just sickening.
