My niece is doing one of those "state a to z" things for school and we/she can't find anything starting with the letters "I" and "K".
Any Arkansas natives know of a place, a thing, a person etc that's pretty notable (that she can look up on the web and write a short paragraph about)?
We're stumped. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm from Arkansas...I have the perfect answer for "I".
Ivory-Billed Woodpecker - The Ivory-billed Woodpecker is the largest woodpecker species in the United States. This iconic bird, a symbol of lost southern bayous and swamps, is now a symbol of hope for conservationists throughout the world.
It has been considered extinct since the 1920's, but resurfaced again in the Arkansas. The return of the Ivory-bill has served as a great source of economic exploitation, with tourist spending up 30%, primarily in and around the city of Brinkley, Arkansas. A woodpecker "festival", a woodpecker hairstyle (a sort of mohawk with red, white, and black dye), and an "Ivory-bill Burger" have been featured there locally as well.
Ask anyone in Arkansas...they will tell you about the "hugeness" of this event. People even set up viewing parties with cameras in woods to see if they could spot one.
As for "K".
Keo Arkansas - Keo is one of the few remaining well-preserved cotton plantation towns in existence today. There are operating cotton gins in the town. There is only one stoplight in this town of 235 residents. Even with so few residents, there are 6 churches!

Kensett, Arkansas.
Only a small town but notable for it's tornados:
Kensett-area historical tornado activity is slightly above Arkansas state average. It is 204% greater than the overall U.S. average.
On 3/21/1952, a category 4 (max. wind speeds 207-260 mph) tornado 2.2 miles away from the Kensett city center killed 50 people and injured 325 people.
Caused between $500,000 and $5,000,000 in damages.
And again:
On 5/26/1973, a category 4 tornado 20.8 miles away from the city center killed 3 people and injured 289 people. Caused between $5000 and $50,000 in damages.
