Why is it so quiet up in Buffalo?

Man, it's one game. My roommate just went out because I was screaming at the TV from the first period to the last second of the third. The Sabres played a good game after the first period. That's something you might want to remember--it took a period of sub-par play from the Sabres for the Islanders to win what was still an extremely close game. Nobody's worried about this Sabres team, sweetheart. Have your fun while you can, though. We both know where each of these teams will be in a few weeks.

I guess Ryan Smyth and the NY Islanders logged on to yahoo answers and were just tired of all the posts saying the Sabres were gonna sweep them and run all over them.

I still think the Sabres are the better team, but in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the only thing that looks easy is on paper. And thats why we play the games......

The Sabres are a very fast team howver a couple of punishing hits by the Islanders and the Sabres won;t know what hit them. Isnaders win it in 6 with me watching game 6 from the Coliseum in Long Island.

It doesn't matter what Buffalo says, we took home ice away tonight, along with a couple of other teams. Looks to be a great postseason.

i'm really getting tired of the obnoxious saber fans. they were looking past the islanders after game one. game one wasn't really a blow out. we were still in it until half way through the third and that was with dubie the 3rd string goalie in net. so sabers think they are the unstoppable force. so what happens now that you've met the immovable object? but to answer ur question i don't think it will be quiet until they are finished off b/c they have big mouths and don't know how to be humble hockey fans.

does anybody remember those early nintety buffalo bills.. this could be a repeat since buffalo is the most losingest city in major sports cause their garbage.. i dont know anything about hoockey though.. all i know is that buffalo is bad at sports and buffalo fans think their teams are gonna be good every year.. ya know?

Not to take away from what the Islanders did (I mean in all honesty I'm crossing my fingers that they will win the series) BUT I don't think they match up well to Buffalo and Buffalo will eventually win.

Hahah yeahh!!! What happened to Buffalo sweeping the Isles??? Buffalo fans...you might as well jus be quiet for the night!!! Ahahahaha. Cuz the Isles now have Home Ice Advantage!
