Yes, you'll probably have to behead her.

And sprinkle the corpse with salt so the evil is contained.

Why would it? A cross is only a symbol, and if it doesn't have a religious meaning to her, I don't think it qualifies as sacrilege.

Now if it was a blessed cross, a Crucifix, or a cross that contained the relic of a saint, I might have a few qualms about that. But that's just my personal reaction and doesn't really affect the fact that it is just a material object.

the only time I ever heard of it being a sacrilege act become while Jesus pronounced do no longer defile the physique of the temple. (Cough cough) Now what he meant by ability of that maintains to be in debate, yet i think of it has to do with smoking, alcohol, and multiple different issues. I ought to ask this, are those tribal issues in the back asserting "devil good, God undesirable!"? in the event that they are not you extremely do no longer ought to problem approximately it, as quickly as back it rather is a layout, and a pass, the pass is a logo, that numerous folk, (even non-believers) placed on, so i do no longer think of you extremely ought to problem approximately it. in my opinion in my view i'd say decide for it, the worst it ought to do is look undesirable on you, it ought to no longer deliver you to hell or something.

"Sacrilege" seems perhaps a bit strong, but it appears irreverant .... kind of like using the Bible as a door-stop on the floor.

What are her beliefs regarding what the cross represents?

Not unless she prays to it and worships it. Otherwise it's just a jewelry tree. Some people us such items to remind them of God. I feel we can never have enough things around us to help keep him in our focus, as long as God is the focus and not the items we have.

Only if you really want to worship a god with no sense of porportionality or humor. Its silly/trivial, so why would god care?

    Why do YOU care?

I guess if that is really important to you we could consider it sacrilegious. But only if it really makes you feel better.

no because a cross doesn't symbolize anything significant to Jesus (pbuh).

Depends who you ask. It is tasteless though.
