is it possible to just have one lung? anyone else out there suffer collapsed lung?
July 9th 2005 i was in a car accident that broke my ribs and a fragment of my rib punctured my left lung. I was told within a year id have full recovery. Well currently i was told i just have asthma but i know that cant be right. I dont have any of the symptoms, no asthma attacks, no allergies, no dust, mold, none of that affect me. Albuterol does NOTHING for me, it doesnt help me breath better at all 0% effective. I cant do any sports and absolutley no running. Is it possible that i may have just one operating lung? Every breathe i take i wheeze, everyday life normal i can walk pretty long distances but i cant run or play sports that require running becasue my lung capactiy is soo low, feels literally like i have one lung, is this possible? ANY1 OUT THERE with collapsed lung have same effects?

It is possible to survive with one lung it happens all the time. people might have lung cancer so to stop it spreding the lung has to be removed. So there are people out there that can survive, although they sometimes find it hard to breathe at times and they can't run long distances but it's a small price to pay for living out to a ripe old age. but i can't tell you that your lung collapsed maybe you should go see a doctor.

Hi, No bull I had the same thing a few years ago but I didn't associate it With the skunk until it was too late , I now live with advanced emphysema and awaiting a double lung transplant. Used to smoke a fiver £5 [a gram] at weekends but then it started to become a habit and I was working overtime just to keep myself going so I thought, they say its non addictive huh it got t5hat bad I went out my way to make "fiends" with the dealers then the suppliers [cultivate rs] I was then in a position to buy it at vastly lower price that's when I went overboard and started to smoke between 20 /30 joints a day let no one say that's bull I've got the blown lungs to prove it I was smoking one after another, maybe you say your an idiot but anyone that smokes it and thinks it helps can fall into the same trap. I can not do anything now and have been in and out of hospital over the last four years I am just waiting to die now I feel bad for my children the youngest just had his 11th birthday I now live in a warden control ed bungalow on my own my so ca led "friends"have been no where to be seen for years too busy enjoying there puff ,blowing there lungs I used to tell them what was happening to me they just laughed but I now at least 3 have been in hospital with breathing problems its the skunk or the solids they put all sorts in it I know i've been there , if you have to use it make tea or cake / soup etc just don't smoke it. you wouldn't smoke cow dung covered in urine would you ? some growers use that to help push up the plants some sell it as skunk.anyway believe me I WOULD RATHER BE STRESSED FROM WORK ETC THAN NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATH AND WAKING UP EVERY DAY THINKING WILL I LIVE TO SEE THE DAY OUT SOMETIMES WISHING NOT TOO BECAUSE IT'S TOO MUCH "STRESS" TRYING TO GET MY BREATH.Sorry this is so long I could of just said eat or drink it not smoke. it will blow your lungs so be warned and be aroundto see your children grow up. yours Talkinhcat.
