Does anyone know the name of this horror movie I describe?

I saw this movie when I was a young child,I don't remember the name. The movie begins with a man being executed in medieval time. He is forced to wear something on his head, I believe a helmet. He is killed and blood is shown leaking out of his helmet. He is a werewolf. Significantly later in time, he rises from the grave. I believe he goes on to live with a woman after rising from the dead, long after everyone that knew of his being a werewolf were dead themselves. I think he was a knight, some type of nobility. There is also a female vampire in this movie. She and the werewolf fight as I recall. I can't remember much of anything else. I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks!

btw-its not underworld, neither of them. this movie was probably made in the 1960s-late 70s

    it could be a Horror film by Paul Naschy he made a ton of werewolf films in the 70's in Spain, check Inernet movie database on his name you will get a list of every film he made (most involving werewolves) hope this helps

    I am such a horror movie buff but this one is a mystery. You said you saw it as a child? Recently, one came out called Underworld:Evolution. There is a werewolf and a chick vampire. She fights another vampire and they do show scenes where his brother was caged. It also flashbacks to medieval times. If this isn't it, sorry.

    I constantly theory Halloween (unique) substitute into plenty scarier than The Exorcist. I observed it way too youthful (10 or so), and that i'm now in my late 30s and nonetheless won't be able to see that mask or pay attention that song with out desiring each and all of the lights on interior the domicile.
