HELP! I need a gift idea!?
I have been babysitting two girls (ages 4 and 1 1/2 years) for 3 years. I have gotten to know them and their family so well. In May I am leaving for a new town and will not be able to babysit with them anymore. I want to get them a gift that will mean alot to them, something they can remember me by. I was thinking about books they both love books and I spent a lot of time reading, any books? I would appreciate any gift ideas! Thanks for your help!
I don't really want to do a gift card- I want something that is thoughtful.

I would think a photo album or scrapbook would be really memorable. My kids LOVE looking at pictures from when they were younger. It will be a reminder for them of you and the time you spent together.

Hi, how about personalized books? Kids love to hear their name in the storyline, and you can put your name in the story as well. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com/ They have lots of titles like Sesame Street, Ballerina Princess, Teddy Bear Land, Three Little Pigs, Little Mermaid, Mother Goose, Sports titles and so many more. Check it out - they're very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful & unique gift... Good Luck!

Why don't you make them both something. That way it's from the heart and they can remember you! Home-made gifts are better than any store bought gifts.

Find a secret place that only you and the kids know...take a picture there by youself as if you were looking at them and have them go there anytime they miss you and need to see or talk to you...It might give them comfort in the years to come..

A picture of the children and yourself engraved on a blanket is a wonderful and ever lasting gift, that will past on to there children's children........and on the days when they are sad, ill, or missing you dearly, they will cuddle with there blanket knowing that you are right there to keep them worm and to make every thing better.

if youve had them a long time, do you have photos of them & you of them growing up & doing fun things w/ you. Do you have coloring pages, little art things--if so, make a little scrap book up, of photos, crafts, little things they did, 1st's, fun stories, etc. or maybe something theyll keep forever, a little table & chairs or an art easel, maybe a cork board, & you paint on it something meaning ful---they'll keep forever using to hang up artwork, notes when they get bigger, & always a little rememberence of you! good luck

If you have pictures of yourself and them you could make a photo book of the pictures and give it to them. Anything that is handmade or personal will remind them of you.

I would suggest a picture with the two kids and purchase a nice frame.
