I am not sure about lbs., but since collards cook down so much I would suggest that you buy 4 big bunches. I have a family that loves greens. Generally one large bunch feeds our family heartily with just a little bit of leftovers. I didn't suggest 5 because not everyone likes greens and if you are entertaining there probably will be so many other things to eat they won't be heaping portions. My husband will eat 1/2 a plate full.

No... Collards shrink down considerably when you cook them. I would go at least 15 pounds for a party of 20. Better to have more than not enough anyway! Buon Appetite!

Well, if all you are having are collards then you will need more... but if you have other foods then your 10lbs should be plenty....

Collards and yams are delicious together.

    Good Luck
