How do I get read of the squeaky sounds from my tennis shoes?

Two days ago, we had a rainstorm in my city. I walked on wet streets and through some small puddles throughout that day. Afterwards, I discovered that one of my tennis shoes made a squeaking sound. Two days later, the shoe still makes that sound.

The sole of my shoe is rubber, and the sound seems to be coming from a rubber part that is within the larger outside rubber part (think of a small circle, representing the squeaky area, within a large oval, representing the entire sole).

Is it as simple as drying it as thoroughly as possible? I thought two days would be plenty of time to dry. Any advice?

Thanks!

When anything squeeks aroung the house, I apply a generous amount of oil.

Seriously, put them in front of the frig for a while to dry out.

May I suggest 4 sweat bands? One for each wrist and one for each head. Nobody wants to guard you when you're all sweaty and stuff.

Put tape on the bottom. If your shoes are wet, however, dry them off.
