Has anyone bought the Whirlpool Duet washer and regretted it?

I found a pretty good price on a Whirlpool Duet GHW 9400, but it is still a lot of money. My last Whirlpool lasted 15 years and I do a lot of laundry. Family of five and my husband is a farmer, so I need something that will get really dirty clothes clean and able to do big loads. I am worried about the reliability of the front loaders though.

I have a duet set and love them. Had them for four years.

They work a lot better when you put a lot of laundry in them. That doesn't sound like a problem for your big family. It has reduced my need for pretreating stains, and it has a cycle for handwash only things.

The only thing that I don't like about them is that when it spins it shakes the whole room. If I get the optional stand for it that will fix the problem.

The dryer is great too. It takes less than an hour to dry a big load of jeans or towels. My old dryer would take an hour and a half.

I have one and I love it. Front loading washing machine is the best. It saves money one your electric bill. Mine when down 40$. Good luck.
