Proof that God doesn't exist?

No one has shown proof that he exists, so, that's proof that he does not. See, that was easy.

First of all, you need to clarify what you're talking about. Define God. If I can show a logical contradiction in your definition, I can prove that God does not exist. But I haven't seen atheists say they have proof that a general God does not exist. Well at least not the representative ones. There's a nutjob in every group. I just see people asking for proof that there is God.

okok first off that galieo dude. he said that the earth revolves around the

sun, but that went against the teachings of the church so they placed him

under house arrest untill he died. GUESS WHAT?? the earth revolves around

2nd christianity says that god created every thing, but who created god?

3rd christianity says that you should love every body and treat them

fairly...hmmm lets see weren't the nazis chritian? Also the crusaders who

raped,killed, and looted from tones of people did it all in the name of

"god." Slave drivers that were devoted chritians treated thier slaves like

nothing. what a way to follow ur religion

4th the whole adam and eve thing. the bible states that god created adam and

eve first, but fossil records clearly show that things where on the earth be

for humans.

5th the virgin birth. right...just think about it and you will realize how

stoopid that is. how can a virgin give birth?? that just goes against all

science except the type of lizard that can clone itself. if you still belive

in the virgin birth are you implying that mary was a lizard?

6th noahs arc 2 of every animal ehhh lets see...a boat that can hold 2

elephants, rhinos, giraffs, hippos, kimono dragons, apes, wolves, and etc.

is just im possible. it would take a genious to design a boat able to do

that and noah wasn't a genious.

7th again bout the noah story. god loves you right? well then how come he

drowned everything on the planet except 2 of each animal?

8th Ahhh Noah. A few questions for you too then - where did he get the polar

bears, penguins, etc from? Noah sends a dove out to see if there was any dry

land. But the dove returns without finding any. Then, just seven days later,

the dove goes out again and returns with an olive leaf. But how could an

olive tree survive the flood? And if any seeds happened to survive, they

certainly wouldn't germinate and grow leaves within a seven day period. When

the animals left the ark, what would they have eaten? There would have been

no plants after the ground had been submerged for nearly a year. What would

the carnivores have eaten? Whatever prey they ate would have gone extinct.

And how did the New World primates or the Australian marsupials find there

way back after the flood subsided? Noah kills the "clean beasts" and burns

their dead bodies for God. According to the bible, this would have caused

the extinction of all "clean" animals since only two of each were taken onto

the ark.

My friend is atheist. She doesn't have proof. She doesn't claim to either. She has her own reasons for not believing. But you do know that you could say the exact same thing about Christians right? Many claim to have proof there is a God, but there is no solid proof. There is no proof of there being or not being a god. Not everything a person believes in has to be proved.

Nobody will be able to proof something that is nothing to prove.

Tell you what, proof that there are no wiki man and the tooth fairy and will show you proof that there is no god. If you cannot show proof, I give you a second chance, ask god to show himself.

I never heard any atheist say they have proof there is no god. Offering proof God isn't real is like offering proof Santa and the Easter Bunny aren't either.

well there are lots of different reasons why god may not exist, but there is also lots of reasons that you could say he does! this would really depend on what your outlook on "god" is? if you mean god with no religion tied to it then that brings up different views but, if your going with the ever popular christian view then you could say that there where religions that came before christianity so why is this one right and not they others? that could be used for every single religion except for the very first one. what religion takes that tittle is up in the air as it most likely always will be. but you would really have to be more specific to receive a better answer.

With all of the technology increasing so quickly, one day, humans decided that they didn't need God anymore, they could do anything for themselves, so they sent up a man to heaven to fire God. He said, "God, you're fired. We don't need you, we can do everything you can with all our new intelligence and technology."

God said, "Ok. I'll quit if you can figure out how to make a man out of dirt"

So the man went to earth, and a few years later, returned to God, "Okay, God, we researched and experimented, and finally...we can make a man out of dirt. So, you're fired."

God said, "Show me"

The man bent down and picked up some dirt, but before he could proceed God said, "No, no....get your own dirt."

Technically, you can't prove that something doesn't exist, and really, you can't PROVE that God exists, only dead people know FOR SURE, and, well, they are in no condition to bear witness. That is part of the greatness of God, that for him to be real to you, you have to believe he is real... Faith is what Religion is based on.

Bully for you! I would love to see anything that resembled proof. The fact is that what Christians use to build our case would meet the standards for legally admissable evidence in any court in the United States. Given enough evidence to remove reasonable doubt, we sentence men to life in prison, or even death! Why must Christians submit absolute proof? Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a while. Step up folks: take your best shot, and plan on a detailed cross examination.

Do you always see this? Can you point out some examples? Most atheists are smart enough to know that you can't prove a negative. Can you prove to me that there is no Tooth Fairy? Can you prove that there is no teacup in orbit around Jupiter?

All most atheists say is that there is no evidence for the existence of any gods. You don't believe in the existence of Zeus, or Odin, or Ra, and for good reason. Well, we don't believe in Jehovah either, and for good reason.

I'm an atheist and I cannot prove God does not exist. I only have logical reason to disbelieve many of the teachings associated with God. I also would never say to someone "God does not exist". I say "I do not believe in the existance of God".
