The bible says Elijah was John the Baptist. When Jesus returns again.... Perhaps there will be another Elijah before He comes.

Jesus said: that was John the Babtist and he was the coming messiah. But the time of mankind to rule the world wasn't over yet when he came the first time. Now we are in the last days and it is time for Jesus to come again.
