If Clinton would have said "I can't recall" to almost every line of questioning asked in his witchhunt that...

had nothing to do with national interests would you Cons have stood by him so strongly as you standy by Alberto "Amnesia" Gonzalez?

Or...is that you never question leaders who play for your "team"? This team mentality you have is sophomoric to say the least, treasonous to say the most.

And...don't try to explain to me that they "serve at the pleasure of the Pres." B.S. b/c if the Pres. wants you to commit voter fraud by prosecuting innocent people to influence upcoming elections, you are obligated to say NO and still retain your job.

As Americans we should applaud these fired attorneys for what they have done! Aparently putting justice and country over party is something that Repubs. can't grasp these days.

"That we are to stand by the President right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -Theodore Roosevelt

Update:

No, I don't give a flying flip what a Pres. does in the bedroom or anywhere with a consenting adults as long as he is serving his country well...you should feel the same, unless you are a perv who worries about sex too much.

Update 2:

Hey McKenzie, that is typical behavior for a Pres. to fire all or some of the attorneys when entering office. Especially when coming of of 12 years of Repub. attorney hirings. I researched this after hearing about it, it is not common to fire attorneys who won't commit voter fraud. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Update 3:

Just because I am a liberal doesn't mean I don't examine both sides of the story, noone is Independent and it doesn't mean what I say is any less true. What you trying to rally your "team" in order to smear me? You prove my point for me. If the same scandal was going on w/ Dems. I would be just as aghast. I have the ability to do that, unlike you...obviously.

Update 4:

Pusher...and yeah, all they got him for was lying about an affair?! Seriously, they spent $80 million dollars on that! He didn't get convicted for those supposed crimes right, is it just common practice for you Cons to use the criminal justice system fraudulantly?

Some keyboards have painted letters, some have letters molded right into the plastic. The latter is the more expensive and lasts the longest. My Toshiba lapper boards are the worst...painted letters & very soft keys...that actually wore right through on some keys. For your parents being befuddled, have them open the "OnScreen Keyboard" if they can't get hold of you. It has the same layout. I believe it's in the "Accessibility" or System Tools. Note also that on devices which have letters that wear out, having a password change often defrays the chances of someone easily figuring out what you have. not so much computers, but keyless door or gates, that kind of thing. Also, keyboard stickers can be used. Google for them. Not cheap, but less than a new keyboard, and they have some creative sets.

The fact that US attorneys do serve at the pleasure of the President (as noted in the fact that Clinton fired all 93 of them) is relevant. Not BS as you state. Perhaps you should try reading the constitution to see a list of the powers of the President and those of the Congress.

""No, I don't give a flying flip what a Pres. does in the bedroom or anywhere with a consenting adults as long as he is serving his country well...you should feel the same, unless you are a perv who worries about sex too much.""

    This displays a point....

whether you are talking about Bill messing around in the oval office, or gonzales, or many other scandals...

we find that its not what you did, its what you said about it when questioned.

The vast majority of scandalous issues arent really crimes in of themselves.. the politicians are getting themselves into trouble by not telling the truth when asked about them.

But for those who dont think its an issue what someone does in the bedroom. Its not about that.

I think of it this way... I dont trust someone who cheats on their spouse and lies about it. I dont trust them to tell the truth about anything. And yes that includes all the cheaters who have done the same.

How did the Rose Law Firm files sit on a coffee table in the White House residence, covered with Hillary's sticky fingerprints, and not be found for years? Then she "couldn't recall" much of anything regarding the files.

    Hmmmmmm.

I only read the first two questions. The rest just looked ridiculous.

Apples and oranges here, baby. Clinton was in a federal courtroom being investigated for a FRAUDULENT real estate deal. NO WITCH HUNT THERE, sweetie! The outcome would have been imprisonment if he were caught, and he was nailed for perjury and obstruction of justice. These are crimes that qualify your idol and hopefully future husband for impeachment.

Gonzales really is in a witch hunt here. He is being investigated before a Senate committee that provides oversight for the Justice Department. What is he being investigated for? Firing eight employees. For exercising his legal right to hire and fire DOJ employees. If Gonzales messes up under testimony, what happens?? NOTHING!!! It is a Senate investigation led by Bush Haters like you who want to punish the rest of us who voted for Bush over John Kerry. The Senate Judiciary committee has no powers whatsoever here. They can only ask questions and make a show to try to get Gonzales to cry.

    Clinton-real crime being investigated here.

Gonzales-dog and pony show designed to embarrass a sitting president.

What flavor koolaid have you been drinking?

The reason people stood behind Clinton was because of the economy not because of his sexual issues.

They DO serve at the pleasure of the President! It's NOT bs or Clinton could have been in serious trouble not just for lying under oath to a grand jury, which you seem to think is OK, but for firing the 96 federal attorneys that HE fired! No, I wouldn't have stood by Clinton if he answered, "I do not recall" to the line of questions he was asked, but at least he wouldn't have perjured himself, been impeached, and disbarred for it.

You are correct, the grilling that Gonzales is facing is just as silly, pointless, and unnecessary as what Clinton faced. I guess the dems aren't any better when it comes to petty matters, now are they?

By the way, the law on the books does say they serve at the pleasure of the president and can be hired and fired at any time, for any reason. Sounds pretty clear to me that they can move these people around as they see fit, and are not required to reveal their motivations. While that might be a problem, following that law as written is neither wrong nor illegal.

Speedy Gonzales says I don't recall 71 times in one day, and Bush says he's doing a good job. Is that hilarious or what? What a load of crap.
