spiderman. he's down to earth...conflicted between love, work, family, school,and being a super hero. Personally, I see him as the most relatable superhero...he can get injured and he struggles with everyday problems.

As for DC...I am gonna have to say Batman. I mean...bat mobile. joker. What more must you say?

Spider-Man is the single greatest. He really captures the jee-whizness of a young nerd who suddenly developes superpowers. He also has the greatest supervillians.

If you want to consider a series--then it would have to be The X-Men--though their story lines are confusing, especially if you read the comics.
