System Restore?
I have a Dell running Windows XP, and I was hoping to do a complete system restore, so I could start fresh. But XP will only let me roll back to an earlier date of about 2 months ago, and I can't find any other way to restore my system. Does anybody know a way?

I think if you don't have your restore disk, you should trouble shoot on the Dell or Microsoft website to see if you can find another way to do it or if you could get another restore disk from them. Or....
You could just watch Felicity with your girlfriend and forget about your computer. I mean, which is more important to you?

Several computer brands HP for one have their own system recovery when your system restore is not enough, what it does is restores your system to the first day you purchased your computer,if your computer has the sytem recovery program, turn your computer off, then start it,when the blue logo appears, press the F10 key on the keyboard, you only have a few seconds to do this, then select the system recovery option, non destructive so your documents won't be erased then just follow the directions just like when you first purchased it,
