This is a legal question?

My daughter who lives in Pensylvannia has a friend who left in her appartment a ring a earrings. This happenned 6 months ago, a few days ago when her friend went to pickup her jewelry only the earring where there. My daughter have a cleining lady sho comes a clean her appartment every month. She doesn't know what happenend to the ring. Now her friend is threatening my daughter telling her she is going to sue her. My daughter does not wear jewerly and she has been telling her friend to come a pick up her things. Can she sue my daughter?

    With no proof of anything there can't be a case! It would be "here say". There is no way she can sue for something no one else can attest to it even existing! Unfortunately some how it got misplaced, OR maybe the friend herself misplaced it. Your daughter has nothing to worry about legally. The only thing she could loose would be a friend.

    Anybody can sue anybody, but on these facts, the friend has no case.
