absolutely it will. Tylenol is very toxic to cats. Their livers cannot metabolize it. You need to take your kitty to the vet immediately.

Get your cat to a vet ASAP. My cat ingested an Aleeve pill and got very very sick. She had some liver issues [her liver couldnt filter out the toxins fast enough] .. so she was really really ill .. took her to the vet and she has to stay overnight a few nights while they gave her some fluids and flushed her system. Taker your cat now while you can still do something. The liver is the only organ that can regenerate itself, so if you can stop the infection now you have a really good chance. Poor kitty.

It could very well kill your cat. Mine swallowed a 500 mg pill this weekend and I got her to the ER within 5 hours. I first kept watch on her and wasn't sure it was a Tylenol but my instincts told me to google symptons and sure enough her gums turned gray and I rushed her to the ER at the Animal hospital. She was on oxygen and IV meds for 48 hours and pulled through. The ER doctor told us that "most cats die" from this toxicity and that it was probably because I got her to the ER as quickly as i did that she survived. This was not a cheap process. It cost over $2000 for the treatment.

Get her to a vet now! Tylenol WILL (not may) cause liver and kidney damage in cats, 1 pill is half of a 150 lb person dose that is definitely an over dose unless your cat weighs 75 lbs.

it depends on how old and how much your cat wieghs--(maybe your cat has a hangover???!!!!just kidding-but seriously, tylenol is very hard on liver functions. how many mg was it(regular extra strength) and are you sure it was just one?
my suggestion is since it can be potentially dangerous to call your vet-they may want to induce vomiting and observe for the day-
good luck

Tylonol is harmful to dogs,sooo...... My guess would be-it,s not good. But, unsure of how much is harmful. How big is your cat? Did it have a full belly when it ate it? How strong was the pill & how many did it eat? These things all make a difference.
Good luck-hope kitty is ok.
