What in the world is going on in London with these "respect" camps?

As many as 9,000 people have been detained in Respect Camps for "anti-social" behavior. The police even seem to have the right to take your personal property as well as forcebly remove you from your home and relocate you. As of now, the "anti-social" behavior is stuff like vandalism, loud music and the like which most people can agree is annoying. However, will it be much longer before the "anti-social" behavior definition expands to include racist remarks, anti-gay statements, anti-Islam remarks, etc.? Is Orwell giggling right about now?

Everybody must think alike... homogenize the population. It has gone beyond anti-social behavior.

When teenager Kyle Little growled and barked at two labradors, the dogs' owner thought he was just being "a daft young lad".

But two police officers who witnessed the incident had other ideas - and arrested the 19-year-old for committing a public order offence.

Little was subsequently charged and convicted at magistrates court of causing harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £150 costs.
