Pennsylvania Route 6?

What else to do on Pennsylvania Route 6. I am going to the PA Grand Canyon in Wellsboro then north to Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. Then back to Route 6 to the West of Pennsylvania. Any suggestions as to what else might be interesting on Route 6 going West from the middle of Pennsylvania?

There is the lumber museum in Galeton that I am aware of, plus the Allegheny National Forest further west. Maybe you could go to Benezette to see the elk herd while you are in the area (a little off of Rte. 6). If you are going to Corning, may I suggest that you go a little further north into the Finger Lakes region of New York...it is a very beautiful area.

Rte. 6 west of Wellsboro is some of the most remote territory on the east coast besides northern New England, so enjoy the scenery is the best advice I can give you.
