Is this where our country is headed? Are we going to continue to allow frivilous lawsuits to continue? What happened to tort reform?

It has been here for a while. John Edwards made most of his money off big over priced lawsuits.
Losing his pants for 3 days is not even a good compliant for a dry cleaners. They found them so what is his problem.
My question is why we pay a lower federal judge enough to be able to wear $800 pants & why he would make fun of the judical system that he works for. Shame on the jerk
It is a frivoilous lawsuit & if laws gave 25% of this type of unproven lawsuit to the person being sued, the lawsuits would stop being filed.

it really is merely none experience. How might want to someone like him develop right into a decide? i believe a decide should be honest and mutually smart. This man or woman merely develop into mad on the purifier and wanted to play round. sixty 5 million money for a pair of pants? The decide is a silent homicide.

omg, that is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever read. the immigrant family should counter-sue for intentional infliction of emotional distress. over a pair of jeans? i believe there is a law/or laws out there that should protect this poor victimized family. this is a small claims case and even small claims wont open a case for an item worth $10.50... refund of $10.50 is all the cleaners should be liable for, and maybe a few punative gifts of whatever, but $65million? wow! that man needs to go play on the freeway or something!

This is the way the Democrats feel they can get even MORE money from the rich so reform will not happen while they control the Congress.

Stop complaing! I pay $30,000 a year in taxes.
If you have so much money couldn't you help me? Rather than getting a new Maserati this year, could you pay for my college.

Please help me; my parents said that if I want to go to college, I need to pay all of my expenses.
