Do you feel your school or college exams ask trivial questions? Should they?

I think sometimes there may be trivial questions on multiple choice exams, but oftentimes the standardized tests that we take for certification purposes/etc. also have similar types of (possibly trivial) questions -- in that sense, I guess at least the exams often prepare us for the other tests we take, whether the questions are trivial or not.
