Anyone know a good seasoning for salad?

My former housemate used to put oil and vinegar on his salad, then some seasoning, which was great, but I don't remember what it was.

You can use a seasoning blend, or just do what I do, and add the spices that you really love! I never buy salad dressing!

I use oil and vinegar (different ones, depending on my mood)

and various spices, (depending on my mood!)

    minced garlic

    minced onion

    crushed red pepper flakes

    tarragon

    basil

    oregano

    thyme

    cumin

    chives

    Listen up!

Use balsamic vinegar, then Old Bay Seasoning (I couldn't make this up) and a tablespoon of mayo -yes, MAYO! Just throw that on the greens, toss it all up and get ready for some Ooooh, La La! later.

    Really.
