In World of Warcraft, what's the best way to get from level 35 to level 40?
I've been grinding the Scarlet Monastery Armory instance in Tirisfal Glades (I'm a level 35 Night Elf Druid), and I'm wondering if there's an easier way, seeing as it takes a long time to form a group and get to Tirisfal Glades, as well as the higher-end Horde that end up guarding the Meeting Stone. Any advice? I really want my mount and my Moonkin form =)

Try Nessingwary's Camp in Stanglethorn Vale, and Booty Bay quests till 38-39ish, and then go to Feralas. The NE city on the iseland should have some quests for use. The easiest way to lvl is utilize rested exp. Log out in inns, cities, etc.

1) When you are close to something huge in level like 40 or 60 or 70, the last few bars 'seem' to take forever. So, even if you are making excellent progress it will not seem that way. Keep going..
2) If you are doing nothing but killing things (grinding) and being in a group, its going to take 'forever'. The XP in groups is split 5 ways and is really low in comparison to you downing mobs solo +1 or +2 above your level.
3) Grinding is a subset of Questing. Grinding is a subset of Questing. Yes, I said it twice. You got to grind to make your objective, so to grind for its own sake is plain wrong. Who doesn't want 4200 xp every 30 mobs?
4) PVP = slow leveling. Everyone knows the top of the levels hang where the opposing faction has to be. Its a part of the PVP world. Consider transferring to a low pop server, level to 70 and transfer back. Not sure what else to say there besides re-roll on a PVE server...
5) Rest time bonus. If your character is not sleeping at the Inns during down time, you are not fully utilizing the game. Rest at Inns if you're not.
6) Quest where you're supposed to be by level. You should be in Stranglethorne Vale doing quests. Load up your quests and go, you'll be there in no time.
Happy hunting...

I think at that level range, just doing Scarlet Monastery a lot would be the best choice. As for Horde guarding the meeting stone... I would say that using travel form and running as fast as possible would be a good idea, there's a graveyard nearby so you don't have a long way to run back to your body.

The last couple of characters I've leveled to 40, I spent a ton of time grinding in the Badlands.
On the southern edge of the map, near the mountain edge there are a bunch of gnolls. They drop decent loot, and they are spaced far enough apart that it's easy to solo. Just be careful of the band of wandering giants that walk the edge of the mountains. They sneak up on you pretty easy if you're not watching.
Good luck!

Sounds like a PvP server, so get a group and go to STV it is the best place to grind at that level. Start at Nessingwary's expedition (tons of quests and BB rep) and work your way down to Booty Bay.

Well, you can keep doing SM if you want, but I went to Stranglethorn Vale...you can quest and grind from 32-45 pretty easily there...lots of mobs, and lots of quests. My level 42 rogue still has orange and red quests there. :)
The other day I killed a random shadowcat sabre and it dropped an epic mace...I was tickled pink!
