How far were you dilated when you went into labor/got to the hospital?

I'm 38.5 weeks and at my checkup today I found out I'm between 2 and 3cm, and that's where I was at when I went into labor with my daughter... I'm pretty excited! Just wondering about others' experiences :)

    They wouldnt admit me into the hospital until I was 4 cm dialated. Sounds liek youre almost there!!! Congrats!!! Good Luck Sweetie!!!

    I was at a 3 or 4 with my son, and a 2 I think, maybe a 3 with my daughter.

    I'm now 1cm, 50 % , and -1 engaged. 36.5 weeks

    Both times I wasn't dilated or effaced at all!!

    The first time my water broke anyway...

    The second time the contractions got frequent and painful so I went in...when I got there I had woked up to a whole 1 inch dilated.

    I was at 1cm and they had to break my water. I was in labor for 23 hours and did not dilate very fast so it made it seem like forever.

    i was 4cm. thats the longest i could hold off without going to the hospital.
