8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat's the silliest thing you've cried over while pregnant?
The other day I was watching Enchanted with my daughter for the 3rd time, and I cried during the part where she was getting ready to leave the ball....lol. I felt like such a loser.
24 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoHow do/did you feel at around 9wks pregnant?
This is my third, and it feels so different from the other 2! I feel horribly nauseated and gross one day, and the next I feel like I'm not even pregnant! Anyone else on a roller coaster?
11 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhen did you first start wearing maternity clothes?
And what is your favorite place to buy them? :)
6 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoCan you think of a middle name?
We are expecting our third, and if it's a boy we would like to name him Gabriel (will call him Gabe) because we also have a son named Michael, and Michael and Gabriel are names of angels in the Bible. Anyway, our last name starts with an "M" so we don't really want the middle to start with a vowel, otherwise we'll have GAM or GEM, etc. Any cute ideas?

By using coupons, finding sales, etc. Or do you just go and grab?
3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoHow old were your kids when they stopped using a bottle?
I saw Leah Remini on the Rachael Ray show yesterday and was a little shocked that her 3 1/2 yr old daughter was still on a bottle (6-8 a night!!!). (And she slept with them in their bed, but that's a whole other issue). My daughter was a year old when we stopped, and now my son is almost a year and still takes bottles half the time, and will soon be done with them since he seems to like sippies.
10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHelp! Major breast pain, feeling sick...?
My second baby was born 3 days ago, I'm nursing, and my milk came in last night/this morning. The pain is so much worse than with my last baby, and no matter how much my baby nurses, my breasts stay huge and swollen. (He is drinking, I can hear swallowing.) Today I started feeling sick, almost like I have the flu and my temp is a little high. I'm scared that I might have mastitis, and I may go to the dr tomorrow. Anyone felt like this too, but it went away on its own?
10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHow far were you dilated when you went into labor/got to the hospital?
I'm 38.5 weeks and at my checkup today I found out I'm between 2 and 3cm, and that's where I was at when I went into labor with my daughter... I'm pretty excited! Just wondering about others' experiences :)
5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoIf a woman eats alot when pregnant, does that mean the baby will be bigger?
I've heard some websites say that it does, but a book said that it did not make a difference (unless a woman is already diabetic, I guess that can mean a bigger baby). Anyone know the facts, or know of a reliable source that says for sure? I was just curious....
14 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoFoundation Frustration--- Any ideas for me?
I was using Maybelline Shine-Free foundation, which was perfect for my skin... but for some reason it has disappeared. I need a foundation that is for combination/oily skin, is oil-free, can be bought at wal-mart, target, etc., and preferably has sunscreen. Also, my skin is more neutral/yellow, and some foundations look very pink on me (like Cover Girl). Any ideas?
9 AnswersMakeup1 decade agoBest way to store childrens clothing?
We will be moving this summer, and will be storing alot of things including baby clothes in a storage unit until we find a house. They may be stored up to 3 months, and in a hot, dry climate. What is the best way to store the clothes? Bags, boxes, tubs? What will keep them the "freshest?" Thanks!!
7 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade agoDid any moms out there ask your doctor to induce you?
Our parents live several states away... the baby (#2) is due may 21st, and my mom is planning on being here by the 19th. I was thinking of asking my doctor to induce my on my due date if I haven't had the baby by then. Has anyone ever planned their own induction? (I'm not worried about being induced, either...I was induced with #1 and everything went great). I would love for my mom to be here when the baby is born, since she wasn't for the first one...
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoChills during pregancy?
I was wondering if any other women have had this-- Last week I was getting out of the shower (hair was dry, and bathroom did not feel that cold) and as I reached for my towel I started shivering HARD, so hard it made me feel like I was going to vomit. I hurried and got dressed and went to the couch and shuddered uncontrollably for another few minutes until finally I warmed up. My belly felt so sore the next day from the shaking. This happened once with my last pregnancy, only it woke me up in the middle of the night, and it wasn't quite as bad. I have a dr appointment next wk, and will be asking dr about it. Anyone have this too?
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoBaby Names for a girl? Reagan/Natalie?
We like Reagan and Natalie... which one do you like better, and what middle name would you put with it? Keep in mind, our last name starts with "M." Thanks!!

We're not sure what we're having yet, and we've already got the boy name picked. If it's a girl, we like Reagan and Natalie. Which one is better, and what middle name would you put with it? Keep in mind our last name starts with "M".
23 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoPotty training suggestions?
My daughter is 19 months old, and is doing pretty well with the potty. She hates being wet/dirty so that helps. Any suggestions as how to get her to tell me she needs to go or will that just come on its own later? (sometimes she says "peepee" and runs to the potty, but she's already gone in her diaper)

9 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhat is the best way to wash and dry my sneakers?
They're just a little dirty, looks like something got spilled on one of them, but they're in too nice of shape to just toss them.
