Atheist! Why is it that you ask a question about God/Christianity, it gets answered, but you still don't see?
Why is that? Why bother asking if you won't accept the answer? Isn't that like flogging a dead horse to you? Isn't it best to agree to disagree? You can’t make us stop believing in God!!. Why, because we have faith in God!. We are on here to spread the seeds of God and his word. It seems you are on here to degrade God and his word.
Why don’t you open your hearts and mind to the possibility of Almighty God.

PRINCESS- Good answer!! However, Religion was created by man; Jesus Christ never followed a religion, nor condoned a religion as the right way to go. In fact he thought religion brought division/ wars and hate among his people.
Jesus is a God of love and acceptance. He shed his precious pure blood for everyone of your sins so that you could bask in the glory of eternal life with him.

ATHEIST- Well I’m sorry there has never been an answer for you. But that's not Gods fault that's the person who is answering the questions fault. Atheist, I can't make Almighty God came down from heaven and stand in front of you, however he did visit Jesse Duplantis after Jesse asked him too. God visited him and his wife when they were asleep one night. The power force of God in his room woke Jesse up and scared the wits out of him. God said to Jesse "Jesse" you asked to see me"? Turn around! but Jesse was too scared too. God asked him to turn around and see him 3 times, but Jesse didn't want too, he was scared stiff! Jesse said it was like a thousand electrical generators were in his room that night, he said the power of God was indescribable. Anyway, the lord left Jesses room and Jesse woke his wife and said "Kathy" God was in the room and you missed him! Kathy said, "What did he look like? Jesse said I don't know I didn't turn around to see him when he asked me too. Continue.......
ATHEIST- So Jesse got up & went 2 his lounge room and prayed to God for forgiveness for "Not" turning around when God asked him to. God forgave him straight away!
The lord said to Jesse, "I'm glad you didn't turn around" Why, Said Jesse? Why, because there is an issue of pride in your life you need to deal with. Jesse asked the lord again to forgive him and he did.
My question to you Atheist is...Is the reason why you "won't" believe in God because of pride?? Sometimes, (even though all the proof is standing in front of us) we can't see the forest for the trees.
No one will ever have the answer for you, one that will satisfy you anyway, why? You have closed your heart to Gods existence. It’s a personal revelation of him. If you don't believe, how can you ask him? Well, you have to ask God in faith and believe at that moment otherwise God can never come near you. I would never pray and have you tortured, ever!! No wonder u've closed your heart to God, it's because of the info u've..
ATHEIST- Stop listening to “people” because people are just that, people! Their personal revelation of God is just that "personal" If you step out on a limb and ask God to forgive you for your unbelief and ask God to reveal his exist to you, he will FOR SURE!!! But you have to step out in faith and that's the whole issue. Atheists won’t step in faith coz they have no faith in God. To Atheists God is a mythological creature that never existed. Proof you want Proof?? Well you're reading from the Proof God exists. God is as real as you are! Why am I “proof God exists”? Why? Because I’m alive, I’ve felt him, I seen him and we communicate everyday. God pulled me up and out of the pits of hell. I'm living proof God is alive and well! Now it's up to you! If this answer isn't good enough, then I will pray for you, but not to have you tortured, where did you get that from? No, I’ll pray God will soften your heart toward him and the possibility he is real!

Many Atheists claim that Atheism is the reasonable or logical choice since no evidence exists that proves the existence of God.
Since eyewitness testimony is evidence in a court of law, the majority of courts in the world, people who can testify to the existence of the Lord God are themselves evidence.
By rejecting evidence that is acceptable in the majority of courts in the world by claiming no evidence exists Atheists are not only hypocrites they are closed minded, illogical and unreasonable.
Agnostics I can understand since I can understand someone saying, "I am not swayed by current evidence to either believe or disbelieve". This is a more open minded position and infers that the person could be swayed by evidence they accept.

Your response to a fellow answerer asked why do we atheists come onto a board for Spirituality and Religion was quite interesting and the response to that can also be applied to your original question.
Open-mindedness and the desire to seek knowledge. Whether the knowledge be based upon fact or opinion does not matter. To be more open-minded, one must be as open to opinions as if they are to fact. Sometimes the line between the two become blurred and they are difficult to distinguish from one another. Perhaps if some people were willing to find out what other people believe and the rationale behind those beliefs, they may question the intelligence in their own beliefs.
To ask a question is not a sin, to then not listen to the answer must be. To believe that answer out of hand is as silly as it is to dismiss it on the same premise.

My mind is so open my brains fall out. But that doesn't mean I will believe everything that is told to me without questioning it. The exclusionary nature of Christian thought is part of the problem. The fact that the practice of most Christian religion pushes the idea of submission, fear and denial of ideas outside a narrow realm is a problem for me. I don't rule out the possibility that God exists, but the religious framework and I do not get along. If God exists, no amount of scientific inquiry is going to uncover him, since it is a subjective emotional experience with faith underlying it, so I don't believe atheists (at least the scientific brand) and theists will be able to see eye-to-eye with regard to spiritual matters. Your seeds may find fertile ground with some, but others must walk a different path. And then there are always agitators in every camp, giving atheists, agnostics, Christians, Muslims, even Buddhists a bad name every so often. Just chalk it up to human nature and move on. If someone wishes to convert, he or she will manage without having to be harangued into it.

active atheism is only caused by someone else's active superstition. You guys are all over the US, to the point where it's a hassle to even be honest about atheism. So going on the internet and pointing out how weird christians are is a way to blow off steam.
also, statements like "Why don’t you open your hearts and mind to the possibility of Almighty God." piss people off. Why don't you open your mind (since your heart just pumps blood to the rest of your body) to the possiblity that thee is no God? are you scared? or maybe the universe just doesn't make sense without a creator. How about Zeus? or Allah? that Joseph Smith had some great ideas, and L. Ron Hubbard too!

If I ask a question and I get a really good answer then I would probably seriously reconsider my current belief system. No offense intended but I have never, ever heard a good reason for believing in god. I have heard (again I don't wish to offend) a lot of speculation and wishful thinking - but no good solid reasons.

i accept the answer as that is what you choose to live by, but i usually disagree with it (not saying that its wrong, i jsut have my own opinions and you have yours). i dont believe or disbelieve in god. I dont think any truely knows if their is a god(s) or not. i also find it hard to believe that christianity is the right religion compared to all the other religions, it might be, but no one knows for sure. so im an agnostic.

Although I've never posted a question here, I'd imagine it's to get a better idea of various viewpoints, not necessarily to agree or "see".
I do not try to get people to stop believing in God. I respect your faith as I would ask you to respect my lack thereof.
Not all atheists are here to "degrade God and his word." Disbelieving, and being open about it, is not always meant to degrade. It is called honesty. You stereotype.

The questions I see are for clarification as to one aspect or another. Once in a while there is a simple "prove your god to me" question.
All in all, procedural questions are answered. (right,left,up,down...) but any challenge to prove your god are answered either by prayer, threats, or random scripture. You fail to answer or avoid the answer.... so there is no result.
Your task is simple. prove your god exists, is what you say he is, and that he is worthy of my worship. Once you have done this, you will have converted me.
Most likely you will pray at me and threaten to have me tortured for all eternity instead of actually answering.

Seriously you people keep on pushing like that you might be converting alright converting people right into Atheism... at least I can have my piece of mind and not worry if my prayer was too big or too small.
