How do you treat muscle spasms in your back?

At baseball practice today, I was running and then I got a muscle spasm in my back. I also have a game tomarrow and want to play really bad. Do you think it would be healed by tomarrow, 5: 00PM?

You should heat before activity and ice after activity and at intervals throughout the day. Also, take Aleve (2 tablets twice a day) or Advil (3 tablets three times a day) if it's sore. Some stretching would help as well.

Ice- ice- and more ice to get rid of the spasms and then you can do heat. Alternate the too, but ice works best for awhile and then take a hot shower to loosen up the muscles. get some rest tonight and try not to stretch it out too much tomorrow.

I swear via Thermacare...they are astonishing warmth patches that attatch actual the place you choose it...the equipment says lasts 8 hours- yet in reality, its frequently closer to twelve. in case you are able to, have somebody gently rub down the section (and that i mean gently- spasms will harm once you rub down) Take warm-as-you-can stand it bathe... sturdy success! i comprehend you do no longer choose pills- yet I had spasms so undesirable whilst they gave me one dose of valium in the ER- worked wonders and that i did no longer could desire to take it returned.
