What do you think about the deal to legalize?

I don't think they did it to win votes, since some US citizens are against that, and as you can see with some answers they are just full of anger and hate (which is very sad), they were pushed to do something because not only the illegals were pushing for it but a lot of farmers and big corporations were in favor of a solution to the problem, most of the people who answer here with messages of hate show a lot of ignorance, it is our obligation to get informed, IMMIGRANTS illegals or not are not the enemy, you don't have to be a "born American" to love this country, I know a lot of immigrants who love so much this country that have enrolled in the Army, who are willing to defend this country who have adopted them, who have given them so much. And what a lot of people don't realize and just jumped to conclusions is that not all of the immigrants are on welfare, you could be amazed on the amount of US citizens living on welfare but still...having expensive cars and dressing up with brand name clothes, while these immigrants work their butts off under the sun picking up fruit, working in construction, or mowing the grass. So to all the people who are just talking trash just for talking... Please do us all a favor and get yourself informed before talking...You give Real Americans a bad name!!!

The way it stands if all goes in favor of cutting out all borders, the U.S. will be the wealthiest 3rd world country on the planet. It is not about right or wrong any longer, but about principle. There will not be another peaceful day in this country. It will get worse. The U.S. and ALL who are here, legal and illegal, will be at high risk for the most unthinkable tragedies in our history. This very subject alone is forcing once calm and peaceful citizens into a stressed frenzy. The media is sensationalizing the protests and riots which is causing people to "one-up" each other for their 15 minutes of fame. If there is a collapse of the once rich and thriving economy due to a forced welfare state we will see an immediate decline in our military, police and healthcare. The rich in this country, including politicians have one advantage, they CAN leave. The likelihood of being attacked on our own soil is nearly imminent with social unrest and a weakened economy. I can't tell on CNN that anyone coming here is swearing allegience to the U.S. to defend this soil from terror and attack, although I did see a news clip of a protestor walk on the U.S. flag, drag it across the ground and place it upside-down on the pole. The ironic thing about the protestor hanging it upside-down is that when an American flag is hung in that manner it is a distress signal. He was unwhittingly advertising that America is in distress and had no idea he was doing it. Sometimes blind ignorance plays out. I don't know about the "stolen" land deal that went down. That was way before my time. I think there are some strange motives. This is like moving chess pieces with a bull dozer. There is nothing delicate about it. When you take ALL races and ethnic origins of all types of religious backgrounds in this country that have fought together, pay taxes, help one another during times of crisis and try their very best to be good neighbors, forsaking the fools that choose to create animosity and division, you will see a group that is unstoppable and relentless at protecting what they have earned as a citizen of this still great nation.

It really doesn't matter what they are promising to do at this point. Everything that is being said right now is only for political gain. Whoever has the best story, wins the election.

Do you honestly think that anyone of these morons are really going to do anything about the immigration situation. They won't even do anything about our own healthcare situation.

Does anyone honestly believe that these immigrants are going to walk away from their jobs, pay a $5000 fine, go back to Mexico, find another job, and wait in Mexico until this country to get their paperwork in order lol.

C'mon people wise up. This is all just to put the peoples minds at ease. They tell you what you want to here and you go away, but nothing ever happens.

I'm still waiting for the fence to be put up that was passed into law years ago. That's right, a fence. Did we all forget? 800 miles of fence that was to be put up along the Mexican border. They started it so we could all see. After 2 miles went up, we aparently all forgot about it. Our government still owes us 798 miles of fence that was bought and paid for.

When it comes to immigration, our government passes laws that they never intend to enforce.

I didn't spend 10 years of my life defending this country to have a third world country invade us with absolutely no reprocussions. Remember, illegal entry into this country is a crime, period! But, I guess it's ok as long as you're doing it to better your life. If I used that common sense then I should be able to rob a bank. Hey, I'm only trying to better my life, right?

But, I guess I'm ignorrant to think that maybe, just maybe our minimum wage wouldn't be so damn low, if Pedro wasn't here to work for nothing on the "down low." Maybe our healthcare wouldn't be so damn expensive if Jesus and his family weren't using up all our emergency rooms time and money.

Wait a minute, am I talking about immingration or our innept corrupt government? I guess they both pretty much feed off one another.

I think the legalization of the idiots too stupid to learn the language of the country they invade is a sign of the beginning of the end of this country. Political correctness aside, do you think that they're going to make this country better? I mean the way they break laws, work under the table, popping out an avg of 5 kids who will also grow up to do menial jobs..do you REALLY think that they're going to better the country?
