Robin who will not leave my deck alone!?
I have any annoying problem with a male robin who is crapping all over my deck and tapping on my window. This has been going on for days and he will not leave! We have tried shooing him and looked for a nest... nothing. Anybody know WHY he is doing this and what we can do to get rid of him? Thanks!

The tapping is because he thinks his reflection is another male robin impinging on this territory. The crapping is because he is hanging around there and is not curable except by getting him away.
The problem will end when he and his mate are established and nesting. He won't be so horny or jealous then.
You can try taping some paper over the area where he likes to tap to ruin his reflection there. Another possibility is to tape a picture of an owl or a crow there to really annoy the robin and scare him away from the window.
