We just purchased a used pool table for our newly refinished basement from craigslist... it is in great shape but now that we have it in the fresh new room, the stench of cigarettes coming from this table is overwhelming. We used Febreze on it, and now it is even worse... sweet perfumed cigarette stench. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

My daughter works for a national chain restaurant, and there have been a few occasions when her customers would "eat and run". She is forced to pay the bill herself. Someone mentioned to me today that this is illegal and I was wondering if anybody had any facts about this being true. Would appreciate any help!

My mother is moving to a senior apartment. She has lived in the same house for 42 years. It is very dated and needs a lot of work as she is not able to keep it up. She has found 3 young men who are willing to rent it. I think it is a bad idea, but welcome input as to the advantages, disadvantages of this situation.

My 10 month old shepard/boxer wont eat his food! We have given him dried food his entire life and have not changed the brand... he will eat snacks and other things but not the food! Its been 2 days. We did give him worm pills just prior to this and are suspicious this may have something to do with this, but, again, he will eat other things (including twist ties and golf balls! We took them away before he actually swallowed them). Any thoughts??

There is an very unpleasant odor (smells like very strong garlic, but very unpleasant) in my house that is coming from (we believe) behind the wall, or in the kitchen cabinet??

On the other side of the kitchen cabinet wall is my dining room and the smell is very strong coming out the electrical outlet. We emptied the cabinet... nothing... we covered the outlet holes and the smell is not coming from there anymore... but can be smelled in the cabinet... could it be like a dead mouse??

Our 6 month old shepherd/boxer male is awesome, but he is a chewer. So far he has totally detroyed a dog bed we bought for him that was in his crate, a comforter, a regular blanket, towels, and now a piece of low pile carpet that we cut to fit. He chews/destroys everything. We would like for his crate to be comfortable as he is there for a few hours during the day when we work, and all night. Any suggestions???

We are going nuts trying to stop our 5 month old lab/shepard male puppy from jumping on everybody he sees. CONSTANT "no!", "get down!", pushing him down, ignoring him, putting him down to the ground and holding him there until he calms, just does not work! Any suggestions?

My 4 month old puppy gets car sick (throws up) any time we take him out in the car. It doesn't have to be that far of a distance. Any suggestions????

I have two concert tickets for a sold out show that I am being offered a lot of $ for. Can I get in trouble if I sell them? What could happen to me? I live in New York state.

We want to get away for a short 4 day vacation in July. We live in western New York, so we have seen Niagara Falls. Not interested in the Adirondack's (been there too). Anybody know of a really great place to spend a few days that has stuff to do and nice accomodations that arent over the top expensive. Would apprecidate any ideas....

I have any annoying problem with a male robin who is crapping all over my deck and tapping on my window. This has been going on for days and he will not leave! We have tried shooing him and looked for a nest... nothing. Anybody know WHY he is doing this and what we can do to get rid of him? Thanks!
