I need a non-alcoholic liquid for a ladyfinger recipe (more)?

I will want to pour it over ladyfingers that have been layered with cream cheese, whipped cream and vanilla.

Any suggestions would be great! I was thinking of a substitute that would be along the lines of Kahlua or Tia Maria, but I'm open to suggestions :)

Update:

Adding: I thought about the syrups but they're very very sweet; I was hoping to preserve more of the cheese flavor with it, with just a hint of a liqueur - but of course without the liquor LOL!

You can always do espresso, or coffee.

Great would be a flavored instant cappuccino packet.

Or, mix any flavor extract with a little water or milk. Add some vanilla, orange or rum extract to a little milk and pour over the ladyfingers.

Its a really pretty pink drink!! Watermelon Fizz 5 cups diced watermelon, divided 8 tablespoons lime juice, divided 1 1/3 cups ginger ale, divided Lime wedges for garnish Freeze 1 cup watermelon for garnish. Puree the remaining 4 cups watermelon. Strain; divide the juice among 4 ice-filled glasses. Top each with 1 1/2 ounces gin, 2 tablespoons lime juice and 1/3 cup ginger ale. if it were me, I would make a reduction of orange juice...it comes out with just the right amount of sweet!...it takes ages by heating the juice over low heat in a sauce pan on the stove but totally worth it and tastes fan-freaking-tastic with the stuff you described...

    Orange juice reduction, recipe follows

1 (12-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

    1 teaspoon sugar

Pour the entire can of frozen orange juice into a medium saucepan and heat the juice over medium heat. Reduce the liquid by 1/2. and stir well.

So why not try one of the coffee syrups for lattes. They have the flavor and sweetness without the alcohol.

have you tried using a chocolate syrup, like they use for ice cream? ... or take a favourite jelly and cut it (water it down) with water, heat it on the stovetop a few minutes and stir... when cooled, pour it over your dessert.
