"I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body" - has this line, coming from a straight man, EVER been funny?

I have never once heard a straight woman say "I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body" - has anyone else?

.

Update:

PAIEN: oh dear, sweetie, the question went right over your head, didn't it?

Update 2:

ACID_ZEBRA: well, I have read it five times on here today ... so you are already in the right place. Oh, and I heard it at work yesterday, so if you want to do some of my shifts next week maybe you will get lucky ...

What size in clothes do you take? We'll get a waitress's uniform just for you.

Update 3:

KEDAR: yes, transgendered people are a different issue ... and you know very well I don't mean them :-p

Update 4:

ACID_ZEBRA: "men issues"? What issues are those, sweetie?

As for you in a dress ... I'll leave that for you to decide.

yes, when Eddie Izzard calls himself a male lesbian. but that's a little different than what you're talking about.

edit: Acid Zebra, would that include fishnets? I have a Rocky Horror fetish, lol...

I've never heard any woman claim to be "a gay man trapped in a woman's body"....and every time I hear some straight guy say he's a "lesbian trapped in a man's body" I just want to thump him in the head. Like someone else mentioned...unless he's claiming to be a pre-op transsexual, it's really ridiculous and immature. These are also the same guys who watch "fake" lesbian porn (directed by straight men) and really think that lesbians will let them watch and actually join in..... sorry guys....we're lesbians because we're attracted to women! are they jealous or hurt somehow that there are women out there that don't want them? are these guys' egos that inflated? thankfully, I don't have any male friends like that.....

Actually I'm a transwoman that's attracted to other women, so I guess I could say that I really am a lesbian "trapped" in a man's body. The thing is, there's no such thing as being trapped in a certain sex. There's medications and surgeries to change the body, which I'm currently on/seeking.

No, but then again we have a lot more to think about than getting laid and how to be more attractive to females so we can get in their pants faster and which one is the most layable. Also, we have a lot more etiquette than to say such brainless things AND think it's funny.

Course, there's always exceptions to every rule, I am merely speaking of feminine females which straight guys would actually be attracted to in the first place, hehe.

And NO, it has never, ever been funny. Another dumb one-liner so clever it cold be easily used in any of the old Bond flicks.

    Peace!.

Well, I have heard that line from straight females friends.

Thing is, with guys, they mean something different.

The other thing is, there are folks who actually are men or women trapped in the other sex's body, and this is a medical issue.

But it's not like those straight guys who say it most of the time are famous for being sensitive to others, etc.

Actually, funny you should ask. Yes, I think I am one. Have always felt, (since about age 10) I would have been happier as a male loving a man. Now, married with children for 45 yrs, hasn't altered my opinion.

I laughed at it when I was a kid but I was immature back then. Then I actually met one. Someone who was born male, identified herself as a woman, and was attracted to women. It was actually kind of confusing but she was pretty cool, she even finally got the surgery and became a woman. I lost touch with her so sometimes I wonder what happened to her in the end.

I think it was funny the first time i heard it. About 15 years ago.

May have something to do with many straight guys' fascination with lesbians, wishing they could also be one.

Ha, I thought it was funny in this context (in your question) other than that though, I'm gonna have to say no. And no, I haven't heard a woman say that.

Nah, I've never found it funny. Just ridiculous at best.

And no, I have never *ever* heard a straight woman say "I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body". I think women have better sense than to say that. ;-)
