Has anyone else realized that Voldemort is a little of his rocker?

In a lot of instances, we all tend to hate the things that remind us of our shortcomings or failures.

I guess Voldemort hated that part about himself (his half-blood history) so much that subconsciously, he felt compelled to annihilate everyone that would remind him of of the Muggle father who left his mother (and him).

His own mother had then died from the despair of losing someone she loved, and left him as well at the orphanage he hated so much. And because of his magical gifts, those Muggles around him at the orphanage couldn't understand him and made him an outcast.

So there's little wonder that he grew up embittered against everything Muggle.

About the werewolves, well, I think that just because Voldemort enlisted them to help him in his mission doesn't mean that he liked or favored them. They were just tools for him to help in his cause. Anything to eradicate the world of those hated Muggles.

At least, that's what I think, anyway.

his mother was a squib but that is not what makes him a halfblood she is still a witch. His father was a muggle that is what makes him a halfblood.

It doesn't drive me crazy. I've met many people in life that have a strong dislike for people like themselves. I personally believe it is because they dislike themselves.

It's a little habit that authors get from reading other books: make the villian - in this case, of course, Voldy - insane so you have a better uproar of questions about what makes sense (or vise-versa) by the fans. This causes them, the fans, to become even more intrigued, and the sales of the sequel get relatively higher. A vicious cycle, you know.

They are all reasons for hating himself.Voldemort tried to revenge the world and others because he was considered to be an invalid just because he was a half-blood, and his dad was a mudblood.

So he raised his talent and abilities and wanted to conquer the world and prove to the World that he was to be feared and not to be avoided or left alone.

He showed his hatred on mudbloods due to his father.

In the real world, people very often deal with their own inadequacies by raging against them in other people.

Its a well known and time honored plot device. He hates his mother and therefore lives in a state of denial that he could be anything like her.

The fact that insanity runs in his family is no great help either.

It became meant to be awkward. Draco became way previous being thoroughly upset approximately being a follower of Voldemort, who wasn't even outstanding to the folk who have been on his part.

Well of course he is, but he is a lot like dictators, monsters, and killers through history who had such great self loathing that they wanted to destroy those who represent the side of them that they hate.

Of course he is more than a bit crazy. See HBP and you get a good idea about what drives him.

Weird how fantasy mimics real life isn't it? Hitler was not of the Aryan race yet that's who he considered the "master race" and killed those who weren't of this race or were opposed.

A villian is a hero in his own head.
