Did the word "laid" came from the word "ladies"?

    No, I'm pretty sure "laid" came from the old testament (King James) use of the word to represent sex -- laying down with someone was to have sex with them.

    NO I beleive it can from What came first the chicken or an egg! Egg had to be laid in order to know you had sex!
