What is with the Ron Paul crowd?

Everytime I have heard someone say checkout or vote for

Ron Paul? They have said some unsubstainted facts or conspiracy theory ideas. Is this his campaign or is Q&A

drawing a different Ron Paul crowd?

I though his remarks at the 1st Republican debate were way off base & wondered if he misspoke but now I wonder he said what he thought. I can not support a paranoid canidate.

The problem with Ron Paul is that he's different from the other candidates. He upholds the conservative ideals of the Republican Party, unlike Manchurian Candidate McCain, Democrat Giuliana, Flip Flop Romney, and sundry others who don't know the how or why of small government. Unfortunately being the one standing out he attracts conspiracy theorists, even though he is not one himself. He also attracts baseless attacks because by being the one standing out he challenges the status quo candidates.

I plan to vote for Dr. Ron Paul in 2008. I've heard no unsubstantiated facts nor any conspiracy theories thus far. Care to elaborate?

I've linked to excerpts from the debate in question:

Yeah you thought they were off base because you are so used to hearing the one direction. He is actually a great reform party type candidate. I would say more of a real conservative with the want to reform back to that type of country. He isn't saying things to make people happy or unhappy. He is speaking in what he believes in. He doesn't lie, he is a straight shooter. Basically if you believe he doesn't hold the same beliefs you do or values, direction. Than pick another candidate. But frankly I even being a liberal enjoy his refreshing take on this country and the direction it needs to go in.

Ron Paul has been telling the truth...that's why he is scaring the hell out of the establishment and the big two parties corrupt hierarchys....

i think alex jones' theories are extreme and unfounded. but ron paul was dead on with about non-intervention in the last debate; as opposed to guilani who was dead-brained and mccain who was just dead.

Most people get upset when they realize they've been lied to...but nothing truly pisses them off more than when they realize they've been told the truth.

He is part of the isolationist conservative group. See Pat Buchanan.

    1) Paul is a libertarian

    2) Libertarians support the legalization of drugs

    3) many people support Paul for this reason

    therefore

    4) Many of his supporters are on drugs.
