Why is it such a problem for libs to ask immigrants to come here legally?
For some reason many libs will defend these criminals at almost any cost... ( I say almost any cost because I am sure they are not allowing them to stay at their homes and eat off their plates or even volunteering their jobs and SS# to them)
Many immigrants come here legally every year. Why do libs despise those that do it the right way? (you show that you despise them with your attitude that you don't need to uphold our laws and we will reward illegal behavior..) Why do they get to cut in line in front of those who really want citizenship in this great country and who will make an impact in this country?
Is it because the requirements are just too hard for the illegals to handle? If this being the case are you saying they aren't smart enough or good enough to qualify?
Brand X... I also blame the Government for not securing the borders... I also look at the group that is making that extremely difficult to do...
ursteul... I am confussed? Did you even read the question? It has nothing to do with what color the illegal immigrant is or what nationality they are... it has to do with them being ILLEGAL. Don't give me this "undocumented worker" crap. They are ILLEGAL. How would you like to let a rapist, child molester, murderer... or to be fair in the lower crime area, a person who steals your identity and causes hours of frustration, time and money to you... how would you like to see them set free because the law does not apply? This is not a race or nationality issue... it is a criminal issue.
I have heard countless stories of immigrants coming legally to this country with next to nothing in their pockets and a dream. They worked hard to become successful. They started at the bottom and moved their way up... so spare me the they aren't rich enough or smart enough... open your eyes when a group is robbing you blind with no respect for your hard work.

The only reason to defend someone who has done something illegal would be if there was a benefit in it for the person doing the defending. I guess that if the drug lords all gave me a kickback from their dealings, I might defend them to keep that easy money rolling in.
I am really curious about one thing. You get an illegal in here, and they set up housekeeping. First, shove a bunch together in a small house, they split expenses. Send money home. Bring more over, including women. Start having kids. Now the good times roll. Because you have a person who is undocumented working without having their legal papers. Yes, federal taxes are taken out of paychecks. Yes, I personally knew of many working at a factory, immigration nearly shut down operations by taking a huge majority of the workers ( who were all back in 3 days or under). So, you have a person with fake papers. This guy is working, paying taxes. But his girlfriend is popping out kids, getting rent paid through government programs, food stamps, welfare ( how are they going to track down a dad who can have multiple sets of illegal papers?) and every other assistance they can find. So, our illegal guy can't get a refund most likely. Wonder where those taxes are skimmed off to? Yes, rent, food and welfare payments add up to more than was taken out of the paychecks. But I have read ( would put up a link if I could remember where I read it, will add later if I find it) that the federal taxes withheld are being taken by the government. Now, could that be a possible reason for wanting to keep them here? Just a theory.
As far as the requirements, they aren't as easy as falling off a bike. But my father had no real skills ( who ever hears of a cobbler in this day and age?). But he did have a sponsor, his uncle and aunt. He came here, and as soon as possible was working in a nursery, lugging around trees. He learned enough English to get by on the job, and started English classes. He studied and passed the test and became a citizen. My father, due to hardship ( war) in his country overseas, did not get past the 6th grade. Not that he was stupid. He was darn smart, kept up on everything going on in this country. Since he became a business owner and was busy when our State of the Union Address came on, my mother recorded it for him ( way back before a VCR or DVD recorder, this was done on reel to reel tape) so that he could keep track of what was going on in his new country. So my father with his education became a citizen, the legal way, and started his own business. Why a man like his should be despised is beyond me. I know he is my father, but trust me, I am the first to say so if someone in my family has totally screwed up. And why someone should receive all sorts of benefits for doing it the illegal way is a slap in the face of those who worked so hard to become part of this country. Was he part of any radical group to take control of the US? No, as a matter of fact, his son, my brother, joined the military and served this country for 16 years.
To reward illegal behavior must mean there is some benefit for the libs. And I must wonder, as a citizen, what they are getting out of this.
So when the libs grant amnesty to all the illegals, and those illegals bring family in, and more illegals come over, and we must pay them social security, a social security that the government tells me might not be around for my children, then will the children of those libs get any social security? Or are the libs not looking that far ahead?
Go ahead and thumbs down me libs. I stand by my opinion and the facts that illegals are draining this country.

Hey beesterdog, take a look at that video above and then come back and edit your answer and tell me how "devastating" to the economy to keep illegals out. Please, I want to hear your defense on that one. I will check back often ( tomorrow, it's bedtime here)

No, that is a well query and I will gladly reply it. See, persons who wish to immigrate to the U.S. want an immigrant visa in an effort to result in everlasting residency and a Green Card. What does it take to get one? There are three elementary approaches to a Green Card. a million) The individual has been petitioned for through an on the spot relative who's a U.S. citizen. That generally is a mother or father, a partner, or a baby over the age of 21. It would even be a sibling, however then the ready time is already 10 to over 23 years. No, no longer a comic story. two) The individual is a tycoon investor. Minimum requirement is to take a position a million bucks into a brand new trade that still demands to create no less than 10 new jobs. This requirement will also be reduce in part if the trade is in an subject wherein you would not wish to die, permit on my own reside. So 1 it's. three) The individual has been petitioned for through a company. It bills 1000's of bucks and takes many months and hard work certification. Basically the organization has to end up that the proceeding immigrant is so well at what they're doing, that no person a number of the over three hundred million U.S. citizens can do this, at a reasonable fee. By its very nature, with the intention to be someone with a doctorate measure and global realization, whether or not a nuclear physicist or mind health practitioner. As you'll be able to see, best approximately a million million persons out of the 6,800,000,000 we've on planet Earth qualify, more commonly from organization a million. So the U.S. immigration procedure is a loved ones-headquartered procedure. A U.S. citizen petitions for a near loved ones member and as soon as that loved ones member has emerge as a U.S. citizen themselves, they petition for the following one. That manner, a usual man, whether or not Mexican or British or Chinese who isn't a medical professional, no longer terrific wealthy, and has no on the spot loved ones within the U.S. are not able to immigrate. Period. So the complete factor approximately going to the tip of the road is hogwash, as there is not any line they would pass into.

Are there really people out there that want immigrants to enter illegally? I personally would like all immigrants to enter through legal means. However we do have the small problem of several million illegal immigrants in the US to deal with.....
And the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act would send the newly legalized illegals to the BACK of the citizenship line. Right behind all those people doing it the right way.
And yes. It is very costly and time consuming to enter legally into the US. Thats why so many people havent done it and came over illegally. But thats hardly the immigrants fault (granted they knowingly broke the law), but it is really the governments responsibility to make it more difficult to do so. At least thats what I think.

Do you know that it is practically impossible for them to come here legaly? Have you ever heard of a poor person from a third world country even granted a visa? They're not Europeans, so they are not treated the same way. The government doesn't clamp down because they know it would be devastating to the economy. About the requirements- it has nothing to do with intelligence but with money.

"Why is it such a problem for libs to ask immigrants to come here legally?"
-you can ask all you want, but if they can't then they can't.
"Is it because the requirements are just too hard for the illegals to handle? If this being the case are you saying they aren't smart enough or good enough to qualify?"
-requirements such as having money? yes, that is difficult for illegals to handle. as far as mexico goes, in 2002, 50% of residents were living below the poverty line.
nothing about individuals being smart or good.

The ones who do it "the right way" usually do it based on applications for highly-skilled jobs such as computer egineer and the like. Some of them come here because they happen to want to and have a direct relative who happens to be a U.S. citizen. Most of illegals would never have a chance to be legally hired despite being needed, that's why they are being considered in the immigration overhauling.

You needed to rant about these illegals ten years ago. You're a little late. Now you're just trying to maintain a caste system where a bunch of people who have been living and working here for a long time are treated like dirt. There is no way to deport these people and they aren't going to leave. That is the reality which you would like to pretend doesn't exist.

nobody despites them we just don't like the way the people stereotype them call them names and such nots its not fair would you want someone calling your immigrant pappies crackers hoonkies or trailer trash I don't think so. If you really want others to respect you learn how to respect your selfs bf opening your mouths its that simple. How do you not know that all the immigrants don't have papers waiting bc you stereotype you think just bc there goes a brown person they are technically an immigrant or if you hear them speak right away you get offended bc you are so into your self you think everyone is talking about you? its the same way with people from the middle east if they are different you classify them as bad seeds its not fair that's all not all people are bad I know you have good in your heart. United We Stand Divided We fall isn't that what were doing who will help us in time of need we already have problems with countries in central america didn't the Mexicans offer tremendouse support after Katrina and 9/11????????????

I blame the federal government for failing to secure the borders. Until then, the unofficial policy of our govt is to let them in. Big biz supports this policy too. Why do you hold the tail responsible? it's the dog that's doing the wagging!

It seems the issue is over. Bush and Congress have decided to let them stay. The rich turn the other way allowing cheap labor.
