My sister is 22 weeks pregnant and the baby is 15 ounces and she has a huge belly. is that normal weight for 22 weeks

Yes it is. I get weekly updates via email from babycentre.com and the one I got this morning says my little boy is almost a pound (there are 16oz in 1lb).

it's fine. at 22 weeks the baby should weigh 1/2 to 1 pound. remember the baby doesn't actually start to put weight on until about 30 weeks.

That's right where she should be. If she has a small frame she could just show. She also could have just more weight than uterus. The baby is about 10 inches and almost 1 lb. (that's 15 oz.) Don't believe me! check out
