I am an over the road truck driver. Everywhere I go I see the signs,?

they all keep telling me that 'NO SMOKING ALLOWED". and always the reasoning is that it can or may harm you and others.

So can anyone tell me why I am not allowed to smoke but a woman has the right to abort a fetus, because it is her body.

Update:

I accept all that you say, but can you honestly tell me that the smell is more offensive than the murder of an unborn child.

well when a women has a abortion it doesnt hurt you does it? Yet 2nd hand smoke does kill too. People dont want to smell or breathe that stuff. You can smoke in yer car or home...whats wrong with that?

As an addicted lifelong smoker I know the crap is bad for me and others. An abortion may hurt only the mother, fetus, and possibly the father. I am just as against abortion as smoking and I try to be respectful of others right not to inhale my poision. As a trucker you see many signs. anything really unique?

because smoking affects not only you but numerous people around you. and an abortion only really affects the mother and an innocent baby. give it time and abortions will be illegal everywhere. that's just it its HER body. not yours not the state or the country's but hers she has the right to do with it as she chooses
