  • Finger 11 - Paralyzer, what does this line mean?

    I don't get it?

    "This club will hopefully

    Be closed in three weeks

That would be cool with me"

That doesn't make sense in the rest of the song, or at least to me. Am I missing something?

What places should I absolutly see, what should I avoid. Where should I look to stay? Anything you can give me. I'll be going in either March or April (hopefully it will be warm) and I'm coming from Phoenix, AZ.

  • Where should I go on vacation this year?

I have one week vacation. It should be within the US, nothing out there price wise, I get sea sick, so cruises are out, I've been to San D a million times, looking for something new. I don't mind flying, just need to get out of PHOENIX!!! Please give me some ideas and why it would be a good place to go.

  • What do you have to do to be a "top contributer" in a particular topic?

I see all these people with them and have no idea how you get that? Apparently it has nothing to do with being within the top 10 answerers within a topic (I've looked around). It also has nothing to do with the percentage you get for choosen answers (i.e., people with 50% choosen answers, not top contributer in anything). Any clues?

  • Am I justified in feeling jaded?

So a good friend of mine is getting married this weekend. She didn't ask me to be in the wedding party because they were paying for everything themselves & were wanting to keep it small. I am ok with that (although I did feel a little shafted, it's her wedding & her choice). So she calls me about a month ago about complaining that her MOH & BM fell down in planning any bridal shower or bachelorette party. Also about how much stuff she needs to get done & needing all this help & no one has stepped up. She makes me her "wedding planner" & my BF an usher. She also say we are welcome to come to the rehersal dinner. So I get with the bride's cousin & we plan it, get everything taken care of, have the party, every one has a great time. So i send her a text this AM asking details about the rehersal dinner & am told that told that we are no longer needed & because of problems with the groom's parents, we shouldn't come. Do I have a right to feel jaded?

  • Where can I find out nutritional info on items at restaurants when they don't post it on their website?

For instance, Applebee's only puts their weight watchers items on the website. What if I want to know what the nutritional info on thier lunch combos are? Or what do i do when the restaurant doesn't have any of that information anywhere? Do I just have to do my best to piece it out?

  • Can someone explain this?

Ok, so heat rises, right? So then why is it hotter at lower elevations (i.e., deserts, beaches) and cooler at higher elevations (i.e., mountains, forests, etc)??? I don't get this!

  • What to plant in 100% shade?

I have a small, 2 1/2' X 4' area that has 100% shade that I would like to plant something (hopefully with flowers). It will get plenty of warmth, but no direct sunlight. Any suggestions? I am in Arizona (very dry, hot).
