Should the US government allow illegal aliens to recieve Social Security benefits?

That might very well be true.But first they must comply with ALL the standards set about in the immigration bill proposal.So if you haven't acquainted yourself with that it would seem as tho they are getting a free ride.But if you do decide to read up on it you will see it's not.

This is nuts. I too have a medical problem. I need life saving surgery. I am collecting social security, but I am only 63. I cannot recieve Medicare until I am 65. My father served in WW11, my brother in Viet Nam. I have worked and paid taxes all my life. My children are law abiding citizens, who according to the government will not be able to recieve social security benefits because it will run out. And now they want to give what is left to these unlawful intruders. They get everything, we get nothing. What did my father fight for? What did my brother fight for? My children are hard working people, because I raised them to be responsible. Looks like they would have been better off using the free handouts that all the losers and law breakers are getting. I hope you will be okay.

First off I don't believe that illegal aliens should receive social security benefits because they are contributing nothing in reality to the cause. Because people like this are coming into the country we aren't going to have any social security in another 15 years at this rate. So I guess there isn't much we can do about it now.

What is wrong with the people in this world today not understanding what "illegal" means!?!? When you do something wrong then you get punished...not bennefits! Why do these fence jumpers (excuse my terminology..but if the shoe fits) think they should get special treatment?! They are breaking the law. You can't pick and choose what laws you feel like following. I believe that holding up a bank and running off with thousands of dollars shouldn't apply to me because I am poor. Ummm...illegal?So what. I'm poor...shouldn't I have the right to be wealthy too? Why should I wait and work hard to be successful and wealthy when I can have what I want right now and look at all the suckers around me getting their hands dirty trying to make ends meet? I'm poor, this law shouldn't apply to me. Sounds completly ridiculous doesn't it?

Byuki or whatever...yes...illegal immigrants are getting paid like at Walmarts and other such places. Under what social security number are they using? But lets not forget....they are breaking the law!!! It doesn't make it right just because they pay into SS!! So don't pedophiles. So don't drug dealers....lets praise them too!

NO, do you realize even when they pay in, they have kids and work for a low wage.....so at the end of the year they get back everything they paid in plus then our government gives them a couple more thousand because they qualify for it due to below poverty level. So, who pays these subsidies, you and I, the taxpayers. Now we are going to give SS to people that in fact never paid in because they got it all back plus more. Our senators do not educate the Americans to this, but this is a fact. Our high up officials are hopeing that tax payers really don't realize this, why, because we already are a little put out with whats going on and this just might be the straw that broke the camels back. Well, now you know.

In actually illegal immigrants have social security tax taken out of their paycheck every week, and most of them never get a penny back.

All the extra money that has been collected over twenty years has contributed to the fact that Social Security benefits have not been eliminated. There are actual documents and studies that prove this. I will look them up and post them .

Oh yeah sure and just entice the rest of them to come over here. They do not deserve a damn thing because they are illegal. What is hard for our govt to understand about the word illegal? We are in deep deep doo doo. Read State of Emergency and be woke up America.

NO!! Illegal means just that illegal!! They have no rights to collect any benefits from the US government. Illegal aliens are criminals anyway you look at it. They enter the US illegally, make or buy false documents, steal legal US citizens ID, etc. They are here illegally and have no right to anything!!, except being arrested, prosecuted and deported back to where they came from.

Do you also know that they do not have to work the same required years that we, as natural born citizens, have to work in order to receive Social Security? That is a kicker too.

i know this is being talked about.. but the answer should be NO!! to me illegal is illegal. The illegal aliens should be deported back to their own country rather than stay here and receive our benefits which will bankrupt this country
