My brother has warts on his armpits. What could they be from?

We tell him it's from not showering cause he only showers about once a week but he denies it and says it's from his deodarant. We call him "Wartzenegger" too.

Warts are caused by a virus. A couple of years ago, my daughter had almost 100 warts on the palms of her hands! However, there are other kinds of growths that you might think are warts, but actually are something else. (Sometimes harmless, sometimes serious.) My advice: quit calling your brother names and help him get to a dermatologist.

He needs to visit a Dr. They could be something other than warts...YOU need to stop calling him names. Why does he only shower once a week? Where are your parents? Who taught him hygene? How old is he? 11? 12? That's a typical non-showering time for boys. As soon as he figures out cute girls are repulsed by his stench, he'll hit the shower.

If he's older...well then he's just gross. But really, in the meantime, he needs to talk to someone who can do something about it, or not. They may just be noggins, or skin tags-which can tear and bleed and maybe lead to something bad.

making fun of him is not helping him, so i suggest you guys stop that. It's just going to make him angry. Sometimes you just GET warts. They aren't from anything. It's definately not from deoderant, and probably not from not showering. Take him into the doctors. They can remove them

Are you sure they are not skin-tags? They could also be pustules, pimples or cysts.
