Tax definitions help Please!?

I went on line and got report of my families land records. It had on it for 2001,[Tax Rel Granted for 2001 JSF].

And above it, [Tax relief Merged for 2006.]

Can anyone tell me what these mean.Is this saying there is a Tax lien on the property? Need someone who knows their taxes..I sure don't.

It most likely means that they received some sort of relief from a portion of their property taxes. My guess is that the relief was first granted in 2001 and carried until 2006 when it merged with an additional tax relief. These things are frequently granted to homeowners or based on some type of use of the property. You can call the county property tax office and ask.
