What is the BEST and WORST thing about the country you live in?

What is your opinion about your country in general (say what country do you live in please) and what country would you like to live in?

USA California, have to be here, the rest (except Hawaii, they rock) is too judgmental for me

Best - I have a reasonable idea of what to expect (and not)

freedom to travel, do my own thing, live in an awesome place that is peaceful and safe

Worst - war mongering, deceitful political administration that is now so brazen they don't even care that it is obvious they will do ANYTHING to further their agenda- and that people in the rest of the world so often think we are duped fools (oops-are we???)

Also, the arrogant, entitled attitude of some Americans sickens me. I wish everyone was required to travel to third world countries as part of their education. Perhaps that would promote greater empathy and compassion.....

    Czech republic:

best: BEER!!!, beautiful girls, history & architecture, being a part of the EU, reasonable weather (not too hot or cold) - except occasional flooding a pretty stable region - no earthquakes, tornadoes, friendly people (don't take Prague as an example of the entire country) etc...

worst: being ruled by someone for centuries, by getting more and more 'americanized', the older generation is not as open to new cultures

where I would like to live?... hmmmm hard to say....

there are many places worth visiting... probably somewhere warm with a reasonable standard of living...

I haven't been ... but I would love to visit Malta some day.

I live in the United States Of America. I don't think I would want to live anywhere else except for my own private island maybe. The best thing about this country is the freedom. The worst thing about this country is the people who take advantage of that freedom and act like greedy, selfish, inconciderate pigs.

I live in the United States and the best thing by-far are the freedoms that we have here. The worst thing are the taxes and the cost of college and buying a house these days. I would like to visit (I don't know about living there yet) Japan.

Best: Freedom, to worship, live, love, believe, speak as we feel.

    Worst: This country's moral decline

I would rather live no where else. The United States is the best country in the world for me.

The WORST thing is there's age limit laws. I'd drop out right now but I have to be 18 in Manatee county. I can't gamble because I'm only 15. Why does the government care what I do with my money? I had to put my Mom on my bank account because I can't have my own until I'm 18. Now I have to wait for her if I want to with drawl money.

The BEST part is we have a free country so we can learn about any religion we choose.

    Country: Australia

Best things: The people, the diversity of the landscapes, the weather, the homegrown music and ofcourse the beer!

Worst thing: So far away from everything else....

I want to see the world, but I want to come back to Australia in the end....

I stay in the united kingdom and the worst element approximately this u . s . is the climate. continuously chilly and raining. We somewhat look to have a summer time so i in many circumstances shuttle someplace warm for approximately 2 months a twelve months - as quickly as I can.

I am a Canadian citizen and love it. The politics are the worse, but every country

could say the same thing, couldn't they? The best part? I am a Canadian citizen

    like I said. Taxes stink--about 45% of what you have now. We are old age pensioners and are hit quite hard. Greed or what???? : }

"FREEDOM" because you don't know how much it means until you lose it. its like if you were once rich and could purchase what ever you wanted then the next day you woke up impoverished

worst thing would have to be some of the crazy thing people do because they have the freedom to do it

    USA Ca
