If the Devil dies (abolished) will there still be evil in our world?

When he dies (from being thrown in the lake of fire) all of his cronies go with him.

the devil is not alive so he couldn't die. and who is to say he even exists? but hypothetically if the devil did exist and then ceased to exist any longer of course evil will still exist. there are plenty of evil people and evil things in this world. and a lot of these evil people do not believe in or follow the devil so he would have no influence on their actions weather he was present or not. and not to mention since he is not an actual person how would someone take over or how would we know that he no longer exists?

The devil will not be abolished any time soon, unfortunatley. This world is becoming more evil by the day, all to his credit and the people that do not chose to know the Lord. You have to make the choice for yourself, just as everyone else in the world does.

the book of Revelation states that there will be a time where Satan will be destroyed. It also says that we will be taken up to Heaven and a new world will be made of purity. There is a misconception about Satan...he is not the leader in hell. He was the chief musician in heaven and then he got jealous and was sent down to hell along with 1/3 of the angels from heaven. Therefore confusion rules hell and he just happens to be the most popular of demons. This is all in the word.

Apparently, you either do not know the Bible like you should, or you're one of those people that "don't claim a denomination". I don't really care which, but if you are a christian, you might consider reading up on the Bible a bit more. Anyway, to answer your question, when Satan is destroyed, evil may still exist since God still gives us the ability to make our own decisions. We don't know exactly what the future holds in that aspect, so for all we know, someone could possibly make the decision that Lucifer did when he fell from Grace. Only God knows these answers.

there will allways be evil as long as there is good. Evil can not exist without good and vice versa. If the Devil dies there something else will replace him. If a king were to die somone would have to replace him to carry on. But we cannot have one without the other one group of peolpe may think somthing is pure and good while others may think it is evil.

If the Devil was abolished, there would still be evil because evil lies in the hearts of men.

The Devil only influences people to do evil, not control people perform evil deeds.

Rebellion doesn't really work in the spiritual realm. For one, the Devil is the one who gave his minions powers. He can easily take them away at will rendering them completely defenseless.

This cannot happen in real life because leaders cannot suddenly take their weapons away or their ability to attack.

Leader's Case:

Boss: Here is a shotgun. Go kill people. *Gives Minion Gun*

Minion: Cool. Gun. *Points gun at Boss" I am going to kill you.

Boss: F!!! *Dies*

Satan's Case:

Boss: Here is a shotgun. Go kill people. *Gives Minion Gun*

Minion: Cool. Gun. *Points Gun at Boss* I am going to kill you.

Boss: The F? How dare you!!! *Snaps Fingers. Gun Disappears*

Minion: The F?!?!? Where is my gun?!?!

Boss: Right here, Mother F. *Gun Appears* Die!!!

Minion: No!!! *Dies*

Well, the Devil will be defeated and thrown into the fiery pits of hell. But the bible says that after a time he will be allowed to reign on the earth again for 1000 years I believe. I don't think that he will ever be completely gone, dead and buried, he will be locked away with those who have gone to hell, to the fiery pits of hell.

WE will fill in.There's enough sin in our "Adamic natures" to take care of that.The devil will be locked up for 1000 years during the millenium yet man still sins.We are not sinners because we sin.We sin BECAUSE we are(born) sinners.
