Are you a DC or a Marvel?

Who has the better heroes, better villains and who do you like most? Who would you want to see crossover?

Update:

Plz give a reason! I wouldnt ask the question for just a str8 answer. Let me know why you think one is better (most have done this).

I'm a Marvel at heart but love DC too. I think Marvwel has the better heroes while slighty DC has better villians. A great crossover would be Batman vs. Captain America... can't call a winner there, easily.

Definitely Marvel. I feel the characters are more like real people and have problems just like you and I. Also, the villians have a reason for being bad, they just didn't wake up and say "gee I think I will go on a crime spree". There are many more heroes and villians in the Marvel universe and I feel you would be hard pressed not to find someone you liked and/or could relate to.

There was a crossover with the Marvel vs. DC which came out years ago and there had been crossovers from many years ago, like Spiderman vs Superman from the 70's. I would love to see a crossover in a movie, but this is pretty unlikely because studios own the rights to certain characters and would probably be way to much red tape.

Good question. On a Hero to Hero, Marvel's are more interesting and have more depth. As cool as Batman is, Bruce Wayne seldom has any personal problems that affect his alter ego vs. Peter Parker, Matt Murdock (DareDevil), etc.

But for team stories, I prefer DC to Marvel. I find the JLA stories more entertaining than the Avengers. Sometimes I just want an action story without all the intrigue that Mavel brings. And when Superman & Batman are together, their dynamic can't be beat.

I'd say that the DC superheroes are too overpowered. the marvel superheroes are more... human (maybe not in race but i mean they seem more realistic). because of that, the villains in the DC universe are just more fun to read about. as for a crossover, i kinda got my fix when DC and Marvel did their crossover (and subsequent temporary merging into Amalgam comics :P)

I read more Marvel than DC I like team books and stay a way from Batman, Superman, Spider-man and the mutant books b/c big crossovers drive me crazy.

    Overwhelmingly a DC.

I like Marvel, but only read one of their books on a regular basis. Amazing Spider-Man.

But my heart belongs to DC. Supes, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel... these are my boys!

But I will say that my favorite superhero movie was a Marvel flick. I thought X-MEN 3 was outstanding.

I'd like to see another Avengers/Justice League crossover. Those are always fun.

    Take care!

I used to be for Marvel all the way. They had more interesting characters, better stories, etc. Now I think I will have to try DC again. All that talent that used to be at Marvel had to have gone somewhere. It sure didn't stay at Marvel. They turned "The Beast" into a freakin' CAT!

    Make mine Marvel!!

The characters over there are more human and flawed and complex than the DC bunch. They make for better stories than the competition.

The guy who would fit over there much better would be Batman, since he's kinda slowly becoming more paranoid. He'd get along great with guys like Punisher, Wolverine, or Moon Knight. They don't trust anyone!

For reading it has been DC (though Marvel mostly makes better movies because they stick to orgins). I like batman's villians the best and they could cross over into either world. I would like to see the justice league deal with the silver surfer and all the bad that he brings.

I don't care about a crossover, Marvel just doesn't matter. DC's the way to go.
