If science finds squids wouldn't that disprove the theory of evolution?

Because squids evolved from primitive cephalopods, and not monkeys.

Update:

I am pleased to see that many of you appreciate the fine art of parody. And I also see that, sadly, there are also many who are unable to recognize parody. :)

Update 2:

Perhaps I should have spelled it "monkies" and more people would have figured it out.

Yes, but for now just have faith that squids exists...

Not technically, no. You are correct in that squids did not evolve from monkeys; however, according to evolution, the primitive cephalopod ancestors of squids and the monkeys evolved from the same creature. Put simply, the theory of evolution does not state that all animal life on earth evolved from monkeys; just humans (technically, humans are considered as having evolved from apes; whether apes are considered as descendants of monkeys or consanguinal relatives of monkeys I am not sure).

Go read up on the theory of evolution. Evolution doesn't say everything evolved from monkeys. It says that humans and monkeys shared a common ancestor.

But before that we were all squiggly things in the water. It's widely believed because it makes so much sense. I've got a video for you to watch. It's very educational.

Evolution is a tree not a direct line. Squid exist in a different branch of this tree from monkeys and humans.

Wait, science hasn't found squids? They're all over the place! How can you say that science hasn't found them?

Just go down to the local sushi place, it'll all be ok...

I found squids. They were on the appetizer plate at the Italian restaurant we went to the other day.

It's not my understanding that evolutionists (or "evilutionists," if you're the Church Lady) believe squids evolved from monkeys.

No one ever said EVERYTHING evolved from monkies. Plus they were called hominids.

    And calamari evolved from squids.

Humans evolved from apes. Not everything evolved from apes, man. Birds evolved from dinosaurs. Or are you too stupid to realize that?
