Pre-1990 Anime?

Question

Any old school fans out there?  There is a lot of great anime out there from back in the day, but you rarely see it represented- generally it's not easy to find, and the younger crowd is spoiled by digital animation.  Just recently I've become very interested in this older stuff : )  I'm in love with the original 1979 Captain Harlock series, Starblazers, Future Boy Conan, Vampire Hunter D, Macross, Legend of the Galactic Heroes (that one's kind of a crossover since it ran into the 90's).

I'm just curious as to how many people like the old school stuff and what you watch!

Well everyone has different tastes in anime. Those you mentioned that suck could be the favorites of many people. But to answer this, I can say that the world is getting more advanced (with new technology and such) therefore people's imagination are dying. What's on the Internet? P.o.r...you can finish that sentence. Maybe that is why there are a lot of echo animes now. Its because people own more tech now and they discover these things. The artists want to satisfy the audience so yeah, echhi stuff is created.

I never liked the old school or new school... but I remember waaaay back to cartoons like Speed Racer and The Littles.

I'm pretty sure the oldest anime thing i actually like was kiki's delivery service and this other thing with a giant panda or something...
