A Question about the Liver, only serious mature answers please?
Does the liver control your bowels? I know not entirely, it's the colon's job but does the liver contribute to regular bowels?

The liver plays a key role in metabolism, storage and detoxification of drugs and alcohol . It's where bile is produced which aids in chemical digestion and gives fecal waste it's brownish color, so in a way it does contribute to healthy bowels

No, the liver is the 'cleaning filter' for the blood ... it has NOTHING to do with the bowels at all. And did you know that if you are sick and it's your liver, if they 'take the sick part' out but can leave a bit of your 'healthy' liver behind, that will 'grow' to be a whole, heatlhy liver?

The liver produces bile (stored in gallbladder) which helps digest fatty foods at the beginning of the small intestine (duodenum)...I 'm not sure if that answered your question.
