How do I clean superglue off?

I've superglued something back together, but some of the glue dripped everywhere (it's on plastic/metal/rubbery surface). How do I clean it off?

    try hot water or steam

    Acetone will take it off, but may also damage the material you glued together. You might want to try it on a small in conpicuous place first.
