Maybe because Vodka is made from rotting potatoes, oh yes, it is.

umm maybe it's just too strong to drink alone, mixing it with other thing make it better because there's some taste like sweet sour and stuff :p

some vodka actually tastes pretty good straight...but you have to know what it's supposed to taste like.

If you're not used to a strong alcohol, then it will probably taste bad to you.

Then again...there are a lot of cheap vodka brands out there...stay away from plastic bottles...LOL
